A chrushing crush

Last Sunday was my brothers last football match of the season, so my dad (the manager of this football team) said we have got to have a party round at ours. I was not keen on the idea at first but when my dad said I could have some friends around at the same time, I came around to the idea. But when everyone was at the party something kind of clicked and now I can not stop thinking about this on boy that was there. I am only 12 so what are the key signs I should look for if he is flirting? But I am also one of those shy girls so I do not really want to go and ask him out, but now I told my brother I am really regretting it as I am scared that he will tell the boy I like next time he sees him.

Please let me know what I should do, preferably before the end of this week as that is the last time I will see him for a while.
