About Katia Loisel-Furey
Described as one of Australia's premier dating experts, Katia Loisel-Furey is an international flirting, dating and body language expert and the co-author of the blockbuster book described as “The Dating Bible” How to get the man you want, How to get the woman you want (Inner Kiss Publishing). She is also a TV / radio presenter and freelance writer who has featured as an expert on TV and radio shows in Australia and New Zealand including regular segments on 9am with David and Kim, The Morning Show, Today Tonight, A Current Affair, Sunday, TVNZ Good Morning and TVNZ Breakfast. Katia contributes daily to radio shows around Australia and New Zealand including Mix Body and Soul (Aust), Classic Hits (NZ), ZM FM (NZ), to name a few and has worked with tens of thousands of singles and couples in Australia and overseas, receiving thousands of letters from readers and advising them on body language, relationships and the world of dating. Katia has contributed to magazines such as Cosmopolitan, Good Health and Medicine, FHM, Ralph, BRW (Business Review Weekly), Dolly and MX. She is also the celebrity body language columnist for MX Newspaper and Relationship expert for Gloss NZ. Katia in collaboration with Inna Segal and Paul Morris Segal has conducted a five year global study “Real People, Real Answers” analysing the dating patterns, likes and dislikes of over 1500 singles. The study on what men and women want when it comes to Flirting, Sex, Dating and Love gives us new insight into what the opposite sex really wants and blasts open old wives tales and dating myths. She has just filmed an International campaign ‘The secrets to flirting and dating’ which will be released worldwide in September 2009. Prior to 2001 she worked as an actor and ran an Actors Agency, coaching and placing actors into various roles, which naturally translated into flirt coaching to help build confidence and create a great first impression. Katia was born in St. Malo, France and came to Australia when she was five. Katia lives in Australia with her husband Greg and son Aiden.
