Body Language and Facial ExpressionsBody language and facial expressions are the most important parts of communication, I believe. Research shows new born babies instantly take visual clues moreso from facial expressions. Nurses are also know to hang magazine pictures of faces over a cot to help calm a baby down. When it comes to facial expressions in body language, it's girls especially who seem to absorb so much more than the guys. Exercises we do in our flirting workshop show visual clues for a girl come mainly from the face. The great aspect of facial expressions is they are very difficult to fake. Seasoned sales people may be able to fake it after years of practice, but for most of us, we can be easily read. Thing is, look for give away signals they cannot hide, such as flushing of the face, muscle twitching and glances to avoid eye contact.
