Flirting and Hugging



Flirting and hugging is certainly an interesting aspect to flirting.

Certainly girls are more likely to hug than boys, and all of us are more likely to hug someone we know quite well.

So when is hugging appropriate?

Flirting and hugging is a difficult one to provide a general rule for.

Some people are just huggers and others don't hug if they knew you for years.

Best advice is if you know someone well enough, you can always test the waters. You will know if it feels appropriate.

If you are hugging as part of flirting, I would be asking the following question - would I hug this person if I wasn't interested in romance with them?

If the answer is no, then I would say don't hug. If yes, then test the waters, and next time see if they approach you for a hug.
