Flirting girls and air traffic controllers

So what do flirting girls and air traffic controllers have in common?

Sadly, not much in common at all.

I find many girls thinks they are sending out flirting signals to a guy, only to find he has no idea at all..

Girls really need to wave in guys like an air traffic controller sometimes, as guys don't always pick up on all the subtle signals.

The big difference between guys and girls is the level of subtlety used in the flirting process.

Girls tend to overestimate how their own body language appears and our own feedback from workshops is a lot of facial clues go undetected. Girls can overestimate the signals they are giving i.e. they think their signals are more pronounced than they actually appear to guys.

I coach girls to visualise being an air traffic controller to signal the guys in, to at least be noticed. You don't have to have the little paddle sticks but they usually get the point to be more obvious.

The biggest challenge is actually getting girls to believe in themselves, to have the confidence to be noticed by guys.

Girls are usually less obvious than guys, but the reason they can be more subtle is a protection mechanism to avoid rejection sometimes.

Overcoming fear of rejection

My belief is accept you are just doing some research at this stage. Sometimes the respondent says yes, sometimes no. This goes for everyone believe me.

To be one of the successful flirting girls, just accept you won't match with everyone, do some 'live' research and find out what works for you.
