Don't be too late

Arriving late was one the bigger bug bears amongst singles in our survey - males would allow females the courtesy of arriving late of say 10 or 15 minutes.

Women found it rude if a male arrived late or after them (more than 10 minutes).

Guys who don't talk

Another major problem on first dates was guys who don't talk. A lot of women preferred the date if a guy engaged a little more verbally in conversation, otherwise they didn't feel as comfortable with the person.

If you are shy or find it difficult to open up, a good start is to learn how to flirt with questions to at least keep the flow of conversation going.

Don't touch

Girls are generally more sensitive to touch than guys, so even the slightest brush or touch from the opposite sex can be a major thing when you don't know the person very well.
