I think she likes me, but not 100% sure

My situation is she is an older women in her 50's. I catch her staring sometimes, and she catches me.

She is very close to my family, i would like to tell her how i really feel but i can't. But my need for her is very strong - sometimes she plays with her shirt when i look, open and close her legs while sitting.

I even brush passed her on multiple times and she said nothing or when I pass her I rub her hand. Still nothing, she gives me compliments, sometimes i just really want to no if she is interested in me.

I believe she is but am not certain please help.

Hi Cleo,

Perhaps in this case honesty is the best policy.

At some stage you'll need to talk to her about how you feel as it seems that your advances haven't had the desired affect.

Are you being forward enough?

I understand that it can be difficult to make your move when it's so close to home so why not try the following steps, paying close attention to what her body language is saying:

Next time you see her
Move closer
You can do this by either the whisper and lean, moving in on a 45' angle or by moving your legs into her personal space (if you're both sitting).
Does she move away or closer? Does she respond to your touch with a touch?

Increase your eye contact
You can do this using the four second face scan, repetitive darting glances, or by maintaining eye contact. (Does she look away, look down or maintain or increase eye contact?)

Touch her
Rather than gently brushing past her, gently touch her hand or base of her arm whilst you're talking to her, watching for her reaction. Does she flinch, move away (even slighting) become tense or does she move closer, and touch you?

If all of her signals are positive and she instigates some flirting then make your move you've got nothing to lose.

However, if she gives little to no response to your advances then there's a chance that she's no interested but doesn't want to offend you.
