Just being nice?

I met him 3 years ago at his older sisters house, I didn't think anything of him because he was a freshman in and out of state college and I was a sophomore in high school.

We both went to the same high school but I didn't even know he existed until after he graduated. I've had a major crush on him since my junior year, he would come over to his sister's house (which is close to my house) in the summer and on random weekends throughout the year. He is very handsome and seemed nice enough.

I would innocently flirt with him, smile a lot, touch my hair and bring attention to my face and lips. I am a massive flirt, and he noticed the gestures and flirted back sometimes , but always talked to me like i was a child.

He would ask me childish questions and never take my opinions seriously . The fact that he's more than a foot taller than me definitely doesn't help. Examples are when we're sitting at a table and he always has his head down and his eyes are the only thing acknowledging he's listening.

I don't know if he was just being nice in flirting back at me because he is four years older than me and knows nothing is going to come out of flirting.

Now that I am a sophomore in college, he's done with school. I don't talk to him enough to know if he's moving back to his family or staying in the state his school was in! But all I do know is every time I see him I just get butterflies!
