To Flirt back or not to flirt back. by: Katia's Comment
Hi Mitchel,
If you're getting positive signals and you're attracted to her why not flirt back. You have nothing to lose!
Laughing, eye contact and playful name calling are all great signs which tell you that she's comfortable with you and enjoying your company, although not necessarily attracted.
Here are a few quick tips to help you tell if she's flirting or just being friendly.
Remember rather than jumping in head first take things slowly and use her responses and body language as a guage.
Increase eye contact - The eyes have been dubbed the initial organ of romance and for good reason. One hot look from you can say a thousand words so use your eye contact to your advantage.
Try the 4 second face scan - allow yourself four seconds to breathe in her features before looking away. Just don't forget to look back. If she maintains eye contact or increases eye contact then...
Move closer - Move too fast and you'll send her barriers up, perhaps permanently. So take it slowly. Try the whisper and lean to decrease the distance between you. If she moves her head closer or touches you, then try it again before gently brushing her arm or hand.
Increase touching - Remember women are almost ten times more sensitive to touch than men so when it comes to touching less is more.
As a general rule of thumb, the hands and lower arms are safe touching zones, but never rely on just one positive response. Always do the same thing several times before turning up the heat on your flirting.
If you're getting a cluster of at least 3 to 5 flirting signals simultaneously, her body is pointing towards you and she's looking at you then chances are you're in business!
Perhaps the next step would be the flirting face triangle.
Let your eyes wander from her eyes to her mouth, resting on her lips before returning to her eyes.
What happens next will tell you what she's really thinking.
If she opens her mouth, licks or touches her lips then she's wondering what it would be like to kiss you.
