Offensive Body Language

We can often create the wrong impression unwittingly with offensive body language.

The key is to be self aware and know how you are coming across to others.

Here are some indicators of body language that may offend:

Pointing

most people can be easily offended when you are pointing straight at them. It is considered rather aggressive.

Offensive body language - unnaceptable flirting behaviour

Legs open

Women can be offended if men keep their legs too wide open

Yelling

Definitely avoid yelling if you wish to avoid offending other people. It will only put people on the defensive and more likely to be aggressive towards you.

Over Staring

Staring unerringly at someone can be taken offensively, whether you mean to or not.
