Is it ok to have sex on the first date?

Katia's answer

Well, having sex on a first date can be a bit like jumping into a river head first without first seeing what lies beneath the sparkling waters.

It can be easy to get lost in the heat of the moment without sparing a thought for your safety or how you'll feel the next day.

Sex is such a personal thing, but the most important thing is to be true to yourself.

There is such a thing as bad sex. Sex is just as much mental as physical, which means that if you feel uncomfortable, guilty or unsure, you're not going to enjoy the experience. In fact a bad experience can affect your future encounters.

If you've asked the question 'is it ok to have sex on the first date?', then somewhere deep down you're not sure. Good things are worth waiting for, so if you feel uncomfortable or aren't sure, then wait and get to know them better first. Believe me the sexual tension and anticipation will make them want you even more and when it finally does happen it will be fantastic.

Good luck
