ABBIE CORNISH AND RYAN PHILLIPPE ARE A SHAKY LOVE MATCH

They may be young and gorgeous, but this picture suggests Abbie’s insecurity about her relationship with Ryan.

To provide herself comfort, she uses partial leg and arm barriers. Although Abbie reaches out to Ryan by holding his hand and arm in a possessive gesture, his body language remains tense, resisting rather than reciprocating her touch.

He stands in front; his trademark brooding, open, crotch-stance putting Abbie in a submissive position. His face is completely devoid of expression and indicates he’d rather be elsewhere. Abbie’s forced smile and submissive scissor-leg pointed towards Ryan indicate she’s staying put, despite feeling uncomfortable.

But it’s not just Ryan’s stance that tells us who wears the pants in this relationship – his unnaturally straight arm forces his hand into an awkward position, the back of his wrist facing down in a subconscious attempt to break away from her hold.

Based on this photograph, it would appear all is not well on the road to love for Abbie and Ryan, with Ryan calling all the shots and keeping his emotions at bay, while Abbie tries to be affectionate enough for the both of them.

Not a great recipe for lasting love.
