Twins Who Dare to be Different

They may be the spitting image of one another, but The Veronicas’ body language suggests that the gorgeous Origliasso twins are in fact quite different and the differences don’t end with their hair or tattoos.

Lisa, left, has an open and confident stance, she pushes her hips and chest forward, accentuating her body and her curves, her steady gaze indicating that she’s more thancomfortable in the public eye.

On the other hand, although Jess’s body language appears open, her tense posture, dramatic tilt in her shoulders and semi-pursed lips hints that all is not well. Jess’s hunched right shoulder, lowered chin, clenched fist, contracted pupils and thigh twisting inwards indicate that she’s uncomfortable and are her body’s subconscious attempt to revert to a more ‘‘comfortable’’ closed stance.

Jess uses fashion to differentiate her from her twin and although she may look more ‘‘out there’’, her body language suggests that she is more guarded than her sibling and would feel far more comfortable standing with her arms crossed or doing what she does best on stage.

Differences aside, the twins’ unique bond is clearly visible. Although facing the cameras their bodies huddle in with both their feet angling on a 45-degree angle so as to get a little closer to one another.
